Special for Infant
Getting Ready
- 1. Select a time that works best with your baby's schedule: Does your baby typically sleep mreo in the morning or afternoon? Generally, infants photograph best when they are well rested and fed.
- 2. Think about the number of portrait sheets and sizes you will need ( don't forget grandparents, aunts and uncles). View our available portrait package.
- 3. Call and make your apporintment!
Select Attire
- 1. When selecting clothing, keep in mind your background options, Remember that solid color always work better in photographs that patterns do. The clothing should not tak away from your baby's facial expression. Generally, pastel backgrounds will be more flattering to an infant's delicate skin tone.
- 2. Clothing should be as comfortable as possible, Itchy clothes make for antsy babies,Cotton clothes are both soft and breathable, so your baby can focus on being cute.
- 3. Select one-piece "snug-fitting" outfits that fasten in the back. This will prevent a baggy or "sloppy" look. Since infants' neck is small, try to choose clothing that does not have a collar. A collar can flip up and block the infant's face.
- 4. Consider a while, solid-color light blue, soft mint green, light yellow, light pink, lilac or white on-piece outfit. Solid pastel colors are best. Avoid bright colors and large or bold patterns. They draw attentition aways from the face.
- 5. Hair accessories should be small.
- 6. Coordinate your child's attire from head to toe, carefully selecting appropriate shoes / booties and socks, as our photographers may suggest a full length pose.
